Save the Day with S’More S’mores

Let’s talk savvy, mouthwatering s’mores for a minute. It’s officially fall, y’all, and that means crisp air, fire pits and ooey gooey s’mores. It also means unpredictable weather. Autumn can bring perfect tailgating or fire pit weather, but it can also bring rain that forces everybody inside.

If that happens this fall, we have the recipe that will make everyone glad it’s yucky out. It’s not time-consuming and the kids can help, too. It doesn’t even require a lot of ingredients, but we promise the ooey gooey goodness of these s’mores will literally have everyone wanting some more. Now that’s what I call a savvy way to save the day!

Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve graham crackers crushed
  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 1 package ready-to-bake cookie dough 16 ounces
  • marshmallow bits
  • 4 snack size chocolate candy bars broken into quarters

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 350 F.
  • Mix crushed graham crackers and melted butter then smash into bottom of 7-by-10-inch brownie pan. Place cookie dough on top of graham crackers then sprinkle with marshmallow bits. Bake 30-35 minutes.
  • Let cool about 5 minutes then place broken chocolate pieces on top. Let completely cool then cut and serve.
