In an effort to assist the community in which her office is located, local business owner Susan Brewer has opened The Sharing Shed. Located on the grounds of Blooming Daisy Marketplace in Historic Cottleville, the Sharing Shed offers those that may be in need a location to receive canned goods or food items. It also offers residents that wish to donate a place where they can easily drop off items to assist those in their neighborhood.
“We really just wanted a place where our community could work together to help those in need right where they live” said Susan Brewer. “The concept is simple: If you need something take something, if you have something to donate leave something.”
Along with the help of other local businesses Plank Road Pizza, Cottleville Cookies and Cream, Blooming Daisy Marketplace, On Board Mercantile and Susan Brewer Service First Real Estate Mrs. Brewer hopes that everyone in the community will utilize the Sharing Shed as a starting point to come together as a community and assist those in need.
